Wednesday 19th February the Paper Bag Archive visited UCLan (University of Central Lancashire) the birth place of the archive, where I was introduced to a section of paper bag ephemera collated over a 30 year period by the librarians.

We have just launched our latest issue on department stores, issue 4! Featuring all of the high street classics and probably a few that are long gone or that you’ve never heard of perhaps! Pick up your copy while stocks last, each issue is still hand numbered!
