Excess Baggage: A lecture on collecting at UCLan University

Wednesday 19th February the Paper Bag Archive visited UCLan (University of Central Lancashire) the birth place of the archive, where I was introduced to a section of paper bag ephemera collated over a 30 year period by the librarians. It was great to go back and talk to the students about how a student project can blossom into something unimaginable like what the Paper Bag Archive has become. It was great to get a small section of the bags out on display and allow the students and myself to peruse over them (which is something i rarely get to do!)
